The Early Bronze Age storage bins

Two types of bins have been attested: the first type is most common and consists of more-or-less circular pits dug into the ground. These are often covered with a marly coating. The second type, represented by only one example in sector 6, was built above the floor: its triangular shape is defined by a thin wall made of building clay. As none of the bins are preserved to full height, their capacity remains unknown. At any rate, none of the original contents have been preserved: most of the objects collected from their interior (seeds, bones) definitely came from the underlying Late Neolithic II destruction level. In one case it is even certain that the destruction debris was deliberately re-used to line the bottom and reinforce the walls of the Early Bronze Age pit.
